MTJ - Montrose Airport is the closest to Ridgway. It is an easy 30 minutes away from the ranch, with rental car and taxi services available at the terminal. Most flights will take you through Denver on the way to Montrose, and who knows, maybe one day Luke will be the pilot flying this route...

GJT - Grand Junction Airport is approximately 1.5 hours from Ridgway (also a very easy drive). This may offer more budget-friendly flights as this is a larger airport. In addition, they will have a wider range of rental car options.

DEN - Denver International Airport is a great option as a destination for your incoming flight. The ranch is approximately 5.5 hours from this airport, however Denver offers the largest variety of rental cars and rental campers. The drive from Denver to Ridgway is beautiful; if you are looking to take your time getting down to Marshland Ranch and seeing more of what Colorado has to offer, this is a great option. In addition, these flights will almost certainly be the most price-friendly.

THERE ARE NO UBERS AVAILABLE IN THE RIDGWAY/OURAY AREA!!!! Please make sure to plan accordingly. There are a lot of rental car options, you will be able to park at the ranch, and you are more than welcome to camp on the property on the night of the wedding (and throughout your stay in Ridgway). PLEASE DO NOT PLAN ON USING TAXI/UBER SERVICES AT ALL!!!!!

We have space for guests who would like to camp on the property during their stay in Ridgway! Guests are welcome to begin arriving starting Wednesday afternoon, and we ask that everyone plan to head out by Sunday evening. If you’re planning to camp at the ranch, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. We’re also happy to help point you toward local RV and camper van rental options if needed.

There will be plenty of flat spots available for guests camping out of their cars or in tents. For guests planning to camp, renting an RV or camper van can be a great option. There are several rental services in southwest Colorado offering everything from camper vans to full-size RVs.

A popular option is Outdoorsy, a peer-to-peer rental marketplace where you can browse a wide variety of RVs and camper vans in the area. Many listings offer delivery and setup for an additional fee, so you may be able to have a rental delivered directly to the ranch—just be sure to confirm delivery availability with the owner when booking.

You can also explore RVezy (similar to Outdoorsy, with delivery options on some listings), or check Cruise America in Montrose for larger RVs. Local outfitters in the Montrose, Ouray, Telluride, or Durango areas may also have rentals available.

Campers should plan to be largely self-sufficient and responsible for their own accommodations, including food, vehicles, tents or RVs, trash, showers, and other personal needs. While there are no formal RV hookups at the ranch, we will be able to fill water, offer temporary electrical access, and will have porta potties available. Guests are welcome to run generators if their setup requires one. We’re happy to share recommendations for nearby showers, waste disposal, and additional amenities.

In addition to camping on the property, there are many local campgrounds in the area offering RV hookups, as well as dispersed camping options nearby. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need help planning—we’re happy to assist!

There are many different hotel options near Ridgway. We have listed a few recommendations here, and noted which locations will be offering us block deals, but invite you to explore all accommodations to best fit your needs. We do recommend that you book as soon as you can as this is such a beautiful place that many tourists come to visit in the late summer months, so things book up fast!

Downtown Ouray is about 5 minutes from Marshland Ranch, and offers a ton of things to do! It offers a main street of shopping and restaurants, as well as various attractions and outdoor adventures.

Ridgway is about 10 minutes from the Ranch, and is located on the way up to Telluride from the Ranch. Again, lots of food options and a very charming downtown.

Montrose is another option for accomodations. This is further away from the Ranch, but offers more options for chain food restaurants and stores.

There are many Airbnbs around the area as well, which could also be an option for guests. Which ever accommodations you chose, we guarantee that your stay in the San Juan Mountains will be scenic and filled with amazing memories.
